Choosing OMNI Counter Top Water Purifiers,
 Undersink Filters or Faucet Mounts

OMNI "do-it-yourself" Undersink and Whole House water purifiers are designed for easy installation – clamping a saddle valve around your cold supply line is all there is to installing your filter. However, if you do not want to tap into your source line or if you live in a rental unit and cannot tap into the pipes, one of our OMNI Faucet Mount or Countertop filters is for you.

For low-cost, entry-level water purifiers, the OMNI F1 Faucet Mount unit will give you great tasting refreshment at the end of your tap. Plus, it takes only minutes to install.

OMNI Refrigerator/Icemaker Filters

The OMNI R200 and  CCF1 Refrigerator/Icemaker filters will make your ice cubes taste great and take that chlorine taste and odor out of your cold drinks. The only difference in the three models is the way they attach to the 1/4" tubing behind your refrigerator. See each product page for details.

If you are interested in ordering the recommended filter(s) or need additional information, please call our Customer Service Department at 1-406-889-5288.

 Why Filter?

Does your water have a funny taste or smell?
Do you want your appliances and fixtures to last longer?

In the U.S., we often take what comes from our taps for granted. But just because it looks clean doesn't mean it is. Threats to sources and quality are on the rise, and EPA cannot always keep up.

Since passage of the Safe Drinking Act in 1974, the EPA has set standards and treatment requirements for municipal suppliers — almost 80 to date. Many of these pollutants can have adverse effects on your health, causing anything from an unpleasant taste to cancer. Public utilities are required to provide water that does not contain pollutants above the levels specified by EPA's regulations. Although they usually provide a good quality, these treatment plants are not always effective at removing contamination that may harm public health. Sometimes, certain pollutants, like rust or lead, can enter your source after it has left the treatment plant.

Boiling isn't always the answer. In fact, unless the contamination is caused by bacteria or a virus, boiling can make the problem worse by concentrating the pollutant in the reduced volume left in the pan.

People who use private wells are not immune from problems either.
